Crochet Today Magazine ran this cute little toddler sweater in the March/April edition. I used Red Heart Sport yarn and omitted the stripes on the sleeves. Erika was nice and warm in her sweater when she visited us in Florida on a couple of cool evenings.
CROCHET CAN BE SUCH A PAIN!
Poor me! I actually sprained my thumb with the repetitive motions while hooking and computing. Now I can't do anything (cooking, cleaning, bed-making…). I also can't work on my crafts. A hard splint is keeping my thumb rigid and protected. It looks like I'll be out of commission for several weeks.
Mikey's sweater might have to wait until next season. By the time my hand heals, it will be too warm for him to wear it. I'm using the free pattern pictured and Red Heart Soft yarn.
Good News!
